Elly Shepley
ChoreographerElly Shepley is a professional dancer and dance educator in the New York City area. She grew up in Winston-Salem NC, where she attended the North Carolina School of the Arts, and then went on to graduate with a degree in Dance Performance from Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts. Elly danced professionally with many regional theaters, and at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, serving as a dance captain for Karma Camp's "Night Beats." She also performed with the New York Jets Flight Crew for three seasons, serving as a Group Leader for the squad, and performing in London for the 2019 NFL Kickoff. She now hosts her own dance classes and coaching sessions through her online dance studio, www.DanceWithEllyShepley.com, where she teaches dancers of all levels who aspire to join high school, college, and pro dance teams. Elly has over ten years of professional coaching and teaching experience. She got her start at Point Park University's esteemed International Summer Dance Intensive, and is a current faculty member at the Ballet Institute in New York City. She is known for her ability to pass on clear and constructive feedback, combining her knowledge of classical dance technique, with her understanding of Pilates, Yoga, and dance team style movement to give her students an all encompassing experience.
